Kamil Holán has described riding against some of the best road racers in the business in the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix as being a “great experience”.
The Czech, who competes for the Uniserv Moto82 Team in the Superstock-based FIM Endurance World Cup, is racing in the Macau street race for the second time.
After qualifying 18th in the combined order, Holán, 46, said of his effort on the 6.12-kilometre Guia Circuit: “At first glance the place does not look the best, but the differences between the riders are small and the chances of getting to the top 15 are definitely there. s a great experience to race with the world elite of road racing. I appreciate it a lot and I look forward to the race.”
The 55th Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix takes place tomorrow (Saturday). Holán will carry #474 on his Blue Garage-entered Kawasaki.
