ADSS 97 is preparing for the upcoming 24H SPA EWC Motos on the back of its fine seventh-place Dunlop Superstock Trophy finish in last month’s 24 Heures Motos.
Riders Stefan Hill, Chris Platt and EWC returnee Chris Walker were down in 30th position in class in the Le Mans season opener but fought their way through to finish 18th overall and seventh among the FIM Endurance World Cup contenders.
ADSS 97’s Craig Watson said: “We’re absolutely over the moon with how it’s gone in the end. Yes, there were a few of us thinking about the what ifs and maybes. We had some issues we never had before but we’ve got some ideas and we shall recoup at Spa.”
Walker, who was returning to Le Mans after a 24-year gap, wrote on Facebook: “What an amazing, awesome and eventful EWC Le Mans 24 Hours. We were left down in P50 overall and P30 in Superstock after a little mishap around 8pm but the team all dug in and we finished P18 overall, P7 in our class and finished top Superstock Kawasaki.”
The second running of the 24H SPA EWC Motos takes place from 16-18 June. Ticket information is available at www.24hspamotos.com.
