After a three-year wait, Kawasawki-powered Team 33 Louit April Moto returned to the podium in the FIM Endurance World Championship last month with rider Christian Gamarino describing the effort required.

Along with team-mates Kevin Calia and Gabriel Pons, Gamarino climbed onto the second stop of the Dunlop Superstock Trophy podium following the second running of the 24H SPA EWC Motos.

“I pushed very, very hard, every lap, every stint and also in the last stint to try to catch the victory,” Italian Gamarino said. “But the podium is very, very good for us because we wait for this podium for three years. We was every time one of the fastest teams in the Stock but for a crash or a technical problem we lose every time the podium, so we are very, very happy for this podium.”

Meanwhile, a Facebook post from Team 33 Louit April Moto read: “All of this wouldn't have been possible without our riders who gave the maximum every moment. A big thank you to all our volunteers present on the circuit since the beginning of the week. They also worked hard and rigorously throughout this competition. Our partners, without whom all this wouldn't have been possible, but also you who have been following us and cheered us on.”

Team 33 Louit April Moto will be in action when September’s Bol d’Or brings the curtain down on the 2023 FIM Endurance World Cup season.
